lyrics
Wasted at the bar again
Tonight we got no show
My eyes are getting heavy
I hope I score some blow
If you're buying
I'll take what's wet
Don't ask, don't tell
Top shelf or well
I'm taking everything I can
GET WRECKED
The boys are getting restless
The ratio is off
Someone don't get some action soon
Someone's gonna get their head knocked off
We're drinking life away
But we're all dead so that's OK
Spent my rent on getting bent
Life sucks this is the only way
GET WRECKED
So what are we looking for?
A fight, a drink, a dirty whore
Only one thing's for sure
We'll drink until we're face down on the floor

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
Trading majestic drone for smoldering assaults, the iconic Japanese outfit rekindle the leaden aggression of their early period. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 8, 2020
