lyrics
Up on the dash, you're drawing me in
Might not be normal, but sure ain't a sin
A gleam in my eye, a tent in my pants
I'm down for this foot chase, I'll take every chance
Don't show me your face, I don't wanna know
Enjoying the scene here, I'll follow the show
Don't know where you're going, I don't really care
Cancel all my plans, today I'll just stare
Cutie-pa-tootie, my bi-pedal beauty
You just made my heart skip a beat
Burning my tires, you're lighting my fire
It's getting real tight in my seat
You wiggle, you shake; I tingle, I quake
In this race I'll be coming in first
Perched right on the glove, they scream for a rub
My gas tank is full and it's ready to burst
Don't show me your face, I don't wanna know
Enjoying the scene here, I'll follow the show
Don't know where you're going, I don't really care
Cancel all my plans, today I'll just stare
Never knew it could be this way
Love at first sight with no eyes
Don't mind the guy sitting next to you
I'll follow you all through the night
Never knew it could be this way
Love at first sight with no eyes
Don't mind the guy sitting next to you
I'll follow you all through the night
Right by your side, no where to hide
Every second I'm gaining more ground
But the moment they're out of my sight
I'm turning this damn thing around

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
Trading majestic drone for smoldering assaults, the iconic Japanese outfit rekindle the leaden aggression of their early period. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 8, 2020
