lyrics
Your Flock of Seagulls hair cut ain't metal no matter what you say
You say that you like girls, but even Halford thinks that you look gay
Look like a fat ass teenage girl, Facebook says you're a man
Do the scene a favor and quit playing in a fucking band
Speaking of doing favors, you should buy yourself a mirror
If that T shirt were alive it would be squirting fucking tears
Busting at the seams or so it seems, wear clothes that fucking fit
Those pants are so damn tight, it must be really hard to take a shit
Let's make sure to get real mad when one of us does well
More fans must means they sold out, at least they got something to sell
Redundancy's a cop out, not the sound of being free
How many fucking ways can you go BREE, BREE, BREE, BREE, BREE?
Can't say that we're a new thing, it's all been done before
But all the same at the same time, is just a fucking bore
Cookie cutters mass producing breakdowns and hair cuts
I hope that the next spin kick lands right on your nuts

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
